The kids have been busy.
My new kids, Lily and Desmond, asked if I would teach them to sew.
They went from plastic grid to felt in one day.  It's wonderful to watch them
using real needles and being very careful.
Sewing has become known as needling and needles are called sharps.

Chloe had been crocheting like crazy making these adorable animals.
She is a wonderful crocheter.  After picking up the book, she thought it would be too hard.
Before we knew it, she had a hippo.

Monday Angel

Hello All!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Often when I work on a drawing, I work in spurts n' fits.
Yesterday, I stayed with this drawing from start to finish.
I believe it took a good three hours.

Last night, we got a late night summer rain.
My daughter and I went right out and stood in it! Refreshing!
