New Yarn

While on our visit to Grandma's house, I found a local yarn shop.
This delicious new yarn is from a local farm.

Rock # 4

This is the rock that started all the other rocks.

Have a wonderful Sunday.  I will be without a computer until Saturday the 17th.
We are off to visit family!

Curtsy to the hour of the slow sad song.
Hang low on the branches that dash your pride.
Save the day in a jar with soap to scrub.
Save the day with a song to sing and and a time to be still.
And always save the day for when you come...home...to me.

Painting on Rocks

I have been gone a long time.
You know how sometimes we fall into those creative slumps?
I think I am on the upswing of one.

My apartment complex provided the rock.
I did the rest.

Lately I ask myself these three things:
Is it simple?
Is it gentle?
Do I feel settled?

To this painted rock, I answer YES!
