Gifts On The Cheap






























I needed two gifts for high school graduates.
But extra spending cash is not on the ready.
So...I made the gifts with great love.

At Goodwill I found these two plain wooden bowls.
I gave them a coat of paint, decorated them with No.2 pencil, and followed with varnish.

    Lovely. What type of varnish did you use?

      Hi Susan! I used a polymer varnish - satin finish. It is made my Golden. (I love there products!!) It is really meant for paintings but I love the sheen it makes on objects.
